Pausa Dramàtica Films is a Catalan production company founded by Anna Moragriega Farrés and Olga Doganoc, dedicated to independent cinema by emerging young talents who explore social and diverse themes. El tren de la alegría (Jordi Boquet, 2023) was the company’s first short film, a candidate for the 2024 Goya Awards. They have also produced the short film Niuada (Valeria Cuní, 2023); the micro-series CCCCStories for the CCCC in Valencia (2022–2024); and the short films Extraviado (David S. Murga, 2024), premiered at D’A 2025, and Hoy no ha dormido bien (Enrique Perales), screened in the La otra mirada section of the Medina del Campo Film Festival. They have also begun the distribution of Maitemina, by Erik Rodríguez, selected for the Navarra Shortzinema 2024 program.
They are currently touring festivals with the short films Ocaso (Alexander Mansfield Martínez), produced in collaboration with RSA Films and shot in October 2023; and Dàlia (Àgueda Sfer), co-produced with La Charito Films and supported by the ICEC and ICAA, which will premiere at the Gijón Film Festival 2025. They are also financing the short film Laboral, directed by Sofia Farré, with whom they previously collaborated on Nàdia, premiered at the Málaga Film Festival and nominated for the Gaudí Awards.
In the field of feature films, they are developing the debut feature by Jordi Boquet, Riure, selected for La Incubadora at the ECAM 2024, in co-production with Fasten Films; Retratos de Intimidad, by Camila Pineda, selected for Torino Film Lab, Toronto, and Mediapro Lab; La Maldita Trinidad, by Erik Rodríguez, selected for D’A Film Lab 2023 and Fire Lab 2024; and Bajo el agua, by Itzel Sacnité, a minority co-production with the Mexican company Mímesis.
They are currently financing and shooting the hybrid feature Lóngquán: el manantial del dragón (Adrià Guxens), supported by the ICEC and the ICAA 2025 selective documentary grants, which will allow the film to be completed in 2026. In August 2025, the project also received the WIP Award from the Spanish Previews at Locarno Pro.
Finally, they are producing the documentary No sé xiular com els pastors (Pau Mira), supported by the Cultural Department of the L’Hospitalet de Llobregat City Council and selected for the Script Residency of the Catalan Film Academy.

Born in Parets del Vallès in 1996, she holds a degree in Film Production from ESCAC. Since 2018, she managed the School–Industry Department at ESCAC, advising students on entrepreneurship and career development. At the same time, she worked as an assistant on financial structuring projects at Gate Media, the Spanish and Latin American representative of Natixis Coficine. She served as line producer on the feature film produced by Nanouk Films and Filmin, Ojos Negros (Marta Lallana & Ivet Castelo, 2019), screened at the D’A and BAFICI festivals, winner of the Silver Biznaga at the Málaga Film Festival, and nominated for Best Non-Catalan Language Film at the Gaudí Awards. Her most notable short films as producer include Ni oblit ni perdó (Jordi Boquet Claramunt, 2019), winner of Best Short Film at the 13th Gaudí Awards, and Nàdia (Sofia Farré, 2022), premiered at the Málaga Film Festival and nominated at the 15th Gaudí Awards.
She has also been a production instructor at ESCAC and, between 2021 and 2023, worked at Nostromo Pictures as assistant to the executive producers on Los renglones torcidos de Dios (Oriol Paulo, 2022) and Mi soledad tiene alas (Mario Casas, 2023), and as associate producer on the documentary Hermano Caballo (Marcel Barrena, 2023), nominated for Best Documentary at the 2024 Gaudí Awards. She also served as production manager on the feature film Historia de pastores (Jaime Puertas, 2024), premiered at the International Film Festival Rotterdam.
In parallel, she founded her own independent production company, Pausa Dramàtica Films, aiming to develop more personal projects. She also participated in the prestigious EAVE Marketing Workshop in November 2024, was selected for Rotterdam Lab 2025, and has started a production mentorship through the ACE Mentoring Programme EU.
(Born in Barcelona, 1996) she holds a Film Production degree from ESCAC. Her film career began at Eddie Saeta with the feature Love Me Not (Lluís Miñarro, 2018), where she worked as a production office intern. Between 2020 and 2024 she was part of Amoros Producciones, serving as the right hand to producer and production director Josep Amorós, collaborating on the development of project dossiers and budgets. She has also served as Production Coordinator at ESCAC FILMS (2021–2023) and as a production instructor at ESCAC and Plató de Cinema. Early in her career she produced Nàdia (Sofia Farré, 2022), premiered at the Málaga Film Festival and nominated for the 15th Gaudí Awards, and worked as first assistant producer on the documentary Un estel fugaç (Bastian Films & BTCom), winner of several awards.
As production manager, she has worked on over 15 short films with various leading production companies, including La Gran obra (Àlex Lora), selected at numerous festivals, winner of the Grand Jury Prize at Sundance 2024, the 2025 Goya Award for Best Fiction Short, and shortlisted for the 2025 Oscars; Ruina (Frank Lucas, produced by Mr Miyagi and Japonica Films), Official Selection at the Málaga Film Festival and BIFAN; Las Chicas (Laura Obradors, produced by Zabriskie Films); Ripe! (Tusk Creative, produced by Japonica Films and Kelley O’Hara), winner of Best Narrative Short at Tribeca 2024; and Imade (Ignacio Acconcia), a documentary short selected at D’A and nominated for the Goya and Gaudí Awards 2025. She also served as co-production manager on the feature Pequeños Calvarios (Javier Polo), premiered at the Málaga Film Festival, and recently led the production of a documentary feature for Movistar+, directed by Laura Herrero Garvín and produced by Fremantle and PI Studio. In 2025 she completed a docu-series for Disney+ produced by Luminol Media, the production company of Carles Porta, working as production manager on the dramatized recreations of the episodes.
In parallel, in 2022 she partnered with Anna Moragriega Farrés and began her career as producer and executive producer at Pausa Dramàtica Films, from where she champions new author-driven projects and emerging collectives.
